My practice in Victoria, Central London

My private counselling and psychotherapy practice is located in Victoria, SW1, within easy walking distance of Victoria Station. I am also conveniently located for those living or working in the West End, Westminster, Holborn, Chelsea, Battersea and the City.

I see clients weekdays from 7.00am until 9.00pm. My Central London location means that clients are able to attend therapy on their way to work, during their lunch hours, in the evenings or at any time in between.

I provide a quiet, safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where, with my professional help, you can explore and make sense of painful and overwhelming issues which can weigh you down and make it difficult to cope with everyday life.

What issues can I help with?

I have extensive experience of working with a wide range of emotional problems and issues in a variety of settings. These include:

  • Low mood and depression.

  • Anxiety, panic attacks, phobias and OCD.

  • Relationships - dealing with conflict, issues of trust, jealousy, loneliness, problems forming or sustaining relationships.

  • Anger management issues.

  • Stress and difficulties with work and home life.

  • Problems around food such as bulimia, anorexia and binge eating.

  • Insomnia and sleeping difficulties.

  • Family problems - separation, divorce, difficulties with parents or siblings.

  • Problematic habits and addictions such as internet, alcohol, compulsive spending.

  • Lack of confidence and assertiveness or low self-esteem.

  • Trauma, abuse and bullying and their after-effects.

  • Life choices regarding personal identity, sexuality, career and parenting.

However, often the issues may be rather more undefined and may include a more general feeling of anxiety, depression, futility, loneliness or simply feeling stuck or lacking a real purpose in life. Or perhaps you are not sure exactly what is bothering you and wish to explore these thoughts and feelings. I may be able to help you.

In particular, my previous career as a Solicitor in Central London and the City has given me a real understanding of the stresses and demands of professional and corporate life, as well as the need for balance between a sustaining a successful career and a fulfilling personal life.
